Развитие внешнеэкономического сотрудничества для России и её регионов с дружественными странами является одним из главных приоритетов государственной экономической и внешней политики. Целью данного исследования является определение специфики и перспективных направлений российско-вьетнамского внешнеэкономического сотрудничества в условиях региональной интеграции. Исследование опирается на статистику внешней торговли, предоставленную Федеральной таможенной службой России, а также аналитические данные международной торговой платформы Trade Map. Дополнительно использованы ведомственные отчеты и аналитические материалы, касающиеся российско-вьетнамских отношений за период 2003– 2021 гг. В работе использованы методы сравнения, интерпретации и выявления функциональных связей. В частности, исследование строится по пошаговому алгоритму, состоящему из пяти этапов, включающих сбор и структуризацию данных, анализ товарных групп, выявление ключевых российских регионов-экспортеров, оценку региональных особенностей, а также разработку рекомендаций для дальнейшего развития сотрудничества. Анализ показал, что внешнеторговый оборот между Россией и Вьетнамом в период с 2003 по 2021 гг. вырос в 14 раз, несмотря на снижение доли России в импорте Вьетнама на 1,2%. При этом импорт из Вьетнама в Россию увеличился в 49 раз. Установлено, что структура российского экспорта во Вьетнам преимущественно включает товары низкого передела, сырье и материалы. Исходя из анализа данных глобальной карты торговли за 2019–2021 гг., выделены перспективные направления, связанные с увеличением экспорта несырьевых товаров. Будущие исследования направлены на оценку возможностей сотрудничества регионов России и Вьетнама в высокотехнологичном секторе.
