Диверсификация экономики Улытауской области посредством развития туризма

Цель исследования определить возможности диверсификации экономики Улытауской области посредством развития туристской отрасли. Для некоторых регионов Казахстана характерна монопрофильность регионов, проблемы которых обостряются во время кризисных явлений. Пространственная организация экономики Улытауской области характеризуется монопрофильностью как следствия преимущественной ориентации на развитие цветной металлургии. Как свидетельствуют события мировой арены последних лет, чрезмерная зависимость от сырьевых рынков в долгосрочной перспективе, так или иначе, порождает угрозу торможения и деформационного воздействия на траекторию социально-экономического развития региона. Данное условие определило тему данной статьи, ее теоретическую и практическую значимость. В исследовании применяется системный подход. Методологическую основу исследования составляют общенаучные методы: анализ и синтез статистических данных, логический метод, метод сравнительного анализа, методы оценки уровня диверсификации экономики региона. В результате исследования проведена диагностика состояния диверсификации экономики Улытауской области, и сфера туризма определена как направление достижения устойчивости экономики региона ввиду наличия богатого туристского потенциала. Выводы и предложения по результатам исследования могут быть использованы при разработке региональных программ и концепций развития Улытауского региона.
